Prototyping and experimentation

A decision is blocked on an assumption nobody has tested. We design the smallest experiment that settles it, run it in 1 to 3 weeks, and hand back evidence, not PowerPoint.

Good fits

“Can we actually build this?”

Technical feasibility before capital is committed

“Which of these three directions?”

Product discovery with something concrete in users’ hands

“Will customers respond to this?”

Rapid prototyping ahead of a build decision

“Can AI do this well enough to be the product?”

Model and pipeline experiments with honest failure criteria

How it works

We agree the assumption under test and what result would change your decision. Then we build the cheapest thing that produces that result. Some experiments fail; that is the product working as intended, because a failed experiment at prototype cost is far cheaper than a failed platform. You get the working prototype, the data, and a written recommendation you can put in front of a board.

One founder came to us asking whether an expert system could interview a company’s leaders well enough to surface its intellectual property and other intangible assets, ahead of valuation and protection. We validated the technology and identified and validated the domain experts whose judgement it had to encode, because a system like that is only as good as the expertise behind it. The same work told them where the proposition would not land and which buyers to stop pitching to, which was worth as much as the technical answer.

Where it leads

Prototyping is the lowest-risk way to work with us, and it is deliberately shaped that way. The evidence usually points somewhere: most often into a bootstrapping build, sometimes into a fractional engagement, sometimes into a decision not to proceed. All three are good outcomes.

What comes next

Engagements grow into one another. Most clients arrive at one step and stay for the next.
